My background is in dressmaking and tailoring and I first began felt-making about three years ago. I have always been interested in fashion so it was a natural progression for me to use this medium for clothing.
Colour has the ability to excite a variety of responses and I see colour as a way to brighten our lives. I hand-dye some of my materials, to create a vibrancy of colour. The garments are light from the use of silk yet warm with the use of wool, making them a delight to wear.
